Head Coach CARLY SWEENEY:
Prior to coming to San Diego, Carly Sweeney was an Asst Coach at Keene State (N.H.), where she also played for fours as an undergraduate in both midfield and back positions. As a senior, she earned All-Region and All-Little East Conference honors as she helped lead the Owls to the ECAC championship. Sweeney enjoyed playing in the Futures program when she was younger and in High School played at Gardner HS (Mass.), where she was named league MVP and received Central Mass. Co-Player of the Year as a senior.

Asst. Coach CAROLINE NICHOLS:
Caroline Nichols is a Futures coach and member of the National Field Hockey team, playing as a Defender on the 2008 US Olympic Team in Beijing. Nichols graduated Cum Laude from Old Dominion where she was their second leading scorer in her sophomore year and earned HFHCA First Team All-America and CAA Defender of the Year and CAA Player of the Year as a senior. She was a 2006 College All American Selection and 3 year All CAA Academic Team. Nichols graduated from Salem HS in Virginia Beach, VA, where she also participated in the USA Field Hockey Futures program.
