Great job by the Junior Varsity team in reaching the finals of the 2011 Serra Tournament! Varsity successfully advanced
from the pool play of the Serra Tournament but was eliminated in the playoffs in the second weekend.

the regular season with varsity's come from behind win over RBV to clinch the League title!
The ladies kept up the momentum
by beating Mira Mesa 3-0 in the first round of CIF playoffs, which moved them on to the quarterfinals.
Their quarterfinal match
was much more challenging as they faced Vista on Vista's home field but our Mavericks prevailed in an exciting 2-1 win! Those
who missed the game can read about it at the North County Times.
LCC played number 2 seed Scripps Ranch in the
CIF semifinals but our lady Mavericks came up short, ending their season earlier than they hoped but finishing on an
optimistic note for next year as Coach Day rebuilds the team for the future.
